Prepping for the Trip

You would think deciding to do a World Cruise was hardest part but then the reality set in...details!!

What do you pack? How much can we take?

How do you get to the ship?

What do we do in a port? And there are 50 ports? Some with up to 20 different Princess excursions?

Do we need 50 different currencies? Oh, now our credit union quit doing currency exchanges. Luckily our travel agent came to the rescue!

Hey look at this Cruise YouTube channel, there is another, and another... And there are many Facebook groups! There is a lot of info out there! And there are a lot of opinions out there.

Well this was a more work than we thought but split the duties. Toni worried about the packing side, Rob worried about the trip planning side.  So how are we doing?

Toni has everything packed except the clothes we will wear on the day we leave and our toiletries for the drive down!!! Packing cubes are her new favorite.

Rob has almost everything planned. A couple ports didn't have excursions until recently are being finalized and two more that we haven't decided on. And Princess just dropped the port call to San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua on Thursday January 12th so now down to 49 Ports.
