And what we have been waiting for, the Komodo dragons

Look at that tounge

Open wide and say ahhhhhhh.

I'm just chill-en!

Hi there

The creatures were big and small

Took a boat ride to the Pink Sand beach and got a good view of our ship

The mountain side

View from the Pink Sand beach

With Komodo Dragon tours about every half hour, there was a lot of opportunity to get people off and then back on hte ship.  Even the crew.  We saw many crew members finally get to get off the ship. Including some of the officers....and including the Captain. But they are always on duty and taking pictures with their favorite passenger!

So why is the sand pink? Well if you mix the regular white sand with the red coral that gets broken apart, then you get pink sand.

Back on the ship, cleaned up, heading to dinner and then a nap!!
