Day 40, Valentines Day

Middle of the Tasman Sea heading to Melbourne.  Melbourne is on the southern part of Australia just north of the island, Tasmania.  The Dutch explorer Abel Tasman was the first known person to cross this sea in 1642. The Tasman Sea and Tasmania are named after him

Craft day included Valentine Day cards. Toni made extra to had out to some of the staff

And she helped another passenger learn how to make a box

We were surprised last night when we saw in the Princess Patter that they were doing a mass Vow Renewal today. Maybe since Valentines Day was supposed to be a port day this was something they just pulled together.  But wow, what an event they pulled together. (will post some video soon)

Our neighbor, who also took the two pictures of us (a few rows above this), left us a congratulatory note on our door for our vow renewal.

They had Valentine displays at each dining room

Special menu

Goofy Golf Round 7

Dinner

Special Heart roll

Rob with a Caesar Salad (with anchovies) and Toni had her favorite French Onion Soup

Toni with the Indian Vegetable Korma and Rob with the Beef Tenderloin and Shrimp

After Dinner we went to the show to listen to a New Zealand singer and then to a version of the Newlywed game that was hilarious.

Our Room Steward surprised us with a lovely towel Display

A great end to a special Valentines Day here and we begin Feb 15th, the East Coast wakes up on the 14th for Valentines Day. So Happy Anniversary Louie and Patti!!!
