Day 50: At Sea heading north

Craft Class was a Decorated Canvas Bag for Toni and Rob went to the WWII talk on Naval Officers in the Pacific War

Plenty of views as we continued near (but not too close to the Great Barrier Reef)

A few seconds on the blog, a couple minutes enjoying the view

The color of water changed based on the depth of the reef. In a few places it peaked into small islands

After a quick hot dog for lunch, we watched an ice sculptor work his magic.

Rob went to another WWII talk while Toni did a Photo Scavenger Hunt. She got all of the needed photos but came in third to two teams of people.

Second time in the gym                     Our favorite outdoor bartender

Needed a picture from the top of the plaza of someone laying on the floor at the bottom. Assistant Cruise Director Kimee offered since Toni was working solo.

As the evening came, so did some showers in the distance.

After dinner, we went up to the Horizon Court to see the Ice Sculptor that we say made earlier. They also had displays celebrating Australia.

An easy day as we slowly worked up the coast of Australia and the northern part of the Great Barrier Reef. Sometime tonight we will get to the northern tip of the Queensland and the closest point to Papua New Guinea. We will head through the Torres straight between the Coral Sea and the Arafura Sea.
