Day 12 Puerto Vallarta

Coming into Puerto Vallarta just as the predawn light was coming over the mountains.

A long exposure captures the stars above predawn Puerto Vallarta

Port Pilot came alongside for instruction for our crew.

Getting lighter

Just before docking.

Flag raised at the port

We walked about 5 minutes from the ship for a public beach. Close, clean and easy to get there.

Lifeguard said it was unusually rough today

Did spot a whale out off the beach

Lunch was at a place where everything on the menu (drinks and food) was 28 pesos, just under $1.50. This was not just the food but the drinks too. While we discovered the size of the food during our first round which was a taco for Toni and Quesada for Rob, the Gringas provided a little more.

While we were there we were able to see the other cruise ship in for the day, Navigator of the Seas

One of the groups returning from their excursion.
