Day 20, Jan 24

 Today we arrived in Honolulu.



They have a show every morning to tell us what is going to happen during the day (usually filmed the day before). We were part of this morning's Wake Show as they played the Hawaii 50 theme.




Land Ho.....  We are getting close to Honolulu and Diamond Head

Stopped by the State Hours.


A little bit of Maryland in Hawaii.



Stopped at a Hawaiian BBQ place for lunch.  At the talk about Hawaii on the ship, Deb said that if you see someplace that has SPAM Musubi.  L&L Hawaiian BBQ had it. Rob said it wasn't bad.




We waited for the main meal, a BBQ platter with chicken and beef.


Then it was off to Punchbowl Crater and the National Cemetery of the Pacific.









They had these panels that showed where military action has happened and how

Rob  and Toni both got Chicken poppers as their appetizer.


Rob got Scallops and Chorizo while Toni got Fish and Chips

Day 31 American Samoa

American Samoa  Pago Pago Bay is one of the most dramatic harbors in the South Pacific, a region known for dramatic landscapes. Day 77: Another Day in the Red Sea

 In the middle of the Red Sea between Egypt and Saudi Arabia Paper Bead necklace and bracelet. Making cards for our Room Steward's birthday and present for Assistant Cruise Director. The pool stewards keep things clean and neat around the pool. Mid day location Olympic Hole in one contest. Close but no cigar describes our day. Smoother seas today Dinner Some Anchovies on the Caesar Salad.                Stuffed Trout for dinner.            Scallops and beans looked better that they tasted.
