Day 6 At Sea

Today. Jan 10th, was a sea day after a full day of picture taking yesterday transiting the Panama Canal. 

Every morning starts with a look out of balcony. The view doesn't get old.  


Rob did a Speedy Sudoku event and a talk about tomorrow's Port while Toni did a craft. Then we did a quick load of laundry. 


At lunch, Rob continued to check off everything on the drink Menu as he was sporting his buddy Tom Sliva's St. Clairsville baseball shirt.


The last two days have had a lot of very small localized rain.


Toni went to an event in the afternoon with demonstrations on facials.  Then we went down to a favorite bar (Good Spirits) and our favorite Bartender (Flor). Good Spirits is based on a TV show that go to destinations and look at the local flavors, fruits, spices and products to be used in making a new drink.  The show will be playing on the TVs at the bar but twice every night, Flor does her own show where they show on the TVs how she makes a few drinks. Today she made Toni a MilkyWay Martini with the chocolate in the glass just for Toni.

 







There are 11 of the TV shows' drinks that they have special 4x6 card with the recipe on it.  Usually on Cruises, if you collect all 11, you can exchange them for a Good Spirits T-Shirt. The other night, Rob had the Cartagena (the night after we were in Cartagena. Today, Flor mad Rob a Barcelona (which will be a stop on this cruise).  Both were outstanding.




Then it was time for dinner. Crab and Artichoke dip to start


Flat Steak for Toni, local Jerk Chicken for Rob


After dinner we went out to see the sunset. And talked to the Captain who was out doing "laps" around the ship.

After dinner was a Neil Diamond tribute in the Princess Theater. Cole, the Cruise Director, opened the show up and introduced the star.

Day 31 American Samoa

American Samoa  Pago Pago Bay is one of the most dramatic harbors in the South Pacific, a region known for dramatic landscapes.
